Fall Favorites On a Budget | Under $90

With August just 2 days away I have Fall on the brain.  I think because it is so darn hot here I am dreaming of cooler, crisper air.  Fall and back to school shopping were always favorites of mine.  I still get excited about new Fall clothes even though I am no longer back to school shopping.  There are some amazing deals on Fall clothes right now.  I think as I was researching this post I put half these items in my shopping cart!  They are all under $90 !!  But they look so much more expensive.  Many of them are part of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, so take advantage before the prices go back up Monday.

I think it would be great with skinny jeans and leggings!
Also comes in a lighter blue stripe.  This honestly reminds me of a Vince I have but a quarter of the price.

This comes in black, gray, and maroon.  Plus it is on sale for $40. Once again looks way more expensive.

I just ordered this in two colors. I am always looking for longer blouses. I picture this with leggings, a cute vest and booties or knee high boots.

Also comes in this Mosaic version which I love.

Comes in 4 colors.  Love the idea of this now with gladiator type flats and then booties in the fall.

I have been wanting to try a pair of Blank denim.  I have heard rave reviews.  I gotta admit they look pretty fabulous for under $100.

I love a plaid coat for Fall.

So gorgeous.  Would be super cute paired with a leather jacket.

I love a cape with skinny jeans.  and pregnant friends I wore capes and ponchos often while pregnant!

I love an Infinity Scarf plus the leopard print is a winning combo.

I never met a snake print I didn't like. This would be a great tote for baby/kid stuff too.

This necklace would look so good with a tee shirt and cardigan.  So many ways you could layer it and wear it.  Comes in 5 color options.

This looks identical to a Joie Blouse I own.  I can't get over the price.  I am sucker for this blue color but it also comes in a few more shades.

Looks identical to a Rag and Bone heathered tee I own.
I can't believe these are polarized and under $100.  Love the blue lens for Fall too.
I love the classic white/black pattern of this cardigan.  I would pair it with a white or black and leggings for a casual comfy look.

I read that pointy toe flats are in style for this Fall.  These would be great for work or play.  I love the gray color but they also come in black, gold, and brown.

I like that these have a lower heel.  I think they would be great paired with dresses, leggings and skinny jeans.  They also come in black and taupe.

Off Shoulder Love | 20 Great Options

It is no secret that lately I have been loving the off shoulder look.  I know it is trendy but for now it is one trend I am really digging.  I wanted to round up a few options, and many of them are under $100.
I had a few people ask me about what kind of bra to wear with off shoulder tops and dresses. I just wear my regular strapless bra- this one is a favorite.  The great thing about many of these dresses and tops is you can also wear them on your shoulders too.

I headed to dinner last night in this olive topshop dress.
I just love the Topshop line, such great pieces that are not crazy expensive.  This dress is a thicker material that I really like.
It is also newly available in white too.

I switched out my shoes at the last minute for flats.  I am wearing the size 4.

I rounded up 20 other off shoulder looks I am loving.  I tried to denote if they were under $100. There are some great everyday options and dressier options. Pretty sure I will be rocking this trend into Fall.

Also comes in black.

This also comes in coral.  Great for the beach or as a dress.

You may remember me wearing this over the weekend.  It was just reduced to 40% off and now under $60

This dress is on sale and such a beauty.  Also comes in a beautiful yellow color.

Comes in 4 different colors.  I own this in the blue version currently on sale.

This would be gorgeous for a wedding.

Love the hot pink + pom poms!

Another great opton for a wedding or dressier event.

Also comes in the same olive color as the dress I am wearing above.

This is one of my favorites.  I think you could wear into Fall paired with leggings or tights and booties.

You might remember this from what I wore last weekend.  It is embroidered and I love the classic black/white.

I love the white.  This would be beautiful to wear to a wedding shower for a bride or on vacation.

Love the print.  It can totally take you into Fall.

Also comes in white.

I love the stitching detail.  This also comes in a white version.

It also comes in a red color with white stitching.

Cobb Salad Dip

Yes, you read that right.  Cobb Salad Dip. It's like Cobb Salad but even better.  I made this last weekend for a few of my girlfriends that came over while the guys were fishing.  We demolished the dip.  It is full of so many fresh flavors.  I picked up my corn and tomatoes at the Farmers Market and they were perfectly ripe and sweet.  You could also add an avocado to this but I was worried it would brown if we had dip leftover.  This is the perfect end of Summer dip!
Enjoy!

Recipe adapted via Lemon Tree Dwelling

- 1 8oz package cream cheese
- 1 8 oz sour cream
- 1 package Hidden Valley Ranch Dip mix
- 3 ears of corn
- cherry tomatoes
- shredded sharp cheddar cheese.
- shredded romaine lettuce
- 3 green onions sliced
- cooked and crumbled bacon
- crumbled blue cheese
- salt and pepper
- tortilla chips or ruffles for dipping

Let cream cheese sit out and soften about an hour.  Mix cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch packet.  Spread in the bottom of any dish- I used a round one that I use for my tomato pie and quiche but any dish would work.  I bake the corn at 350 degrees about 10 minutes just to slightly soften it but you don't have to cook it.
Layer shredded cheese and the rest of the ingredients.  I like to end with the blue cheese and bacon. Serve with tortilla chips.

Scenes From Our Weekend

Lots of fun stuff this weekend.

First of all I finally found two matching tufted cane back chairs for our den.  I had been searching for a pair for awhile.  These are in execellent condition and the fabric actually matches our rug!  I was beyond excited.  Thanks to Rust Charleston (they have a booth at the Mount Pleasant Mall).  Liz gets in the best vintage stuff, check her out if you are local.

Friday night we went to party at the yacht club, but enjoyed a glass of wine outside before we left.
Wearing Topshop Dress
We got to watch the storm roll in.  It was beautiful.  Then we had to high tail it home since we were on our golf cart.
Sterling always has the best time there with his friends.
Saturday the kids and hit up the Farmers Market while Matt fished in a fishing tournament.
I had the best breakfast | Green Garden Juice + Soba noodles with pork and a fried egg.
I got the most beautiful bouqet of flowers along with some delicious produce.

Saturday afternoon we met up with some friends and headed back to the Yacht to see how Matt and is friend Andy did in the fishing tournament.
The weather was not the best for fishing, it was super windy and really rough so sadly Matt did not win.  We had a fun evening anyways.

We could not stop laughing about our photo bomber in the back.  We had no idea who he was or that he was in our picture until we looked at them.

Sterling and his lady love, Julia.

Sunday morning was brunch at Hot Little Biscuit.
The grits are amazing.  It was my first time trying them.  I added pimento cheese, roasted tomatoes, and green onions- so good!
One out of two kids looking at the camera is a win.
Romper is old ASOS

Ended the weekend with homemade Smores Ice Cream sandwiches.  The recipe is the new Real Simple Magazine.

I can't believe Summer is over in 3 weeks.  Savoring time with these little ones.

Have a great Monday!
